The Lorde cover of this powerful song inspired the project I was quite proud of. Inspiration loosely came from The Hunger Games: Catching Fire film and the original artist's title of the song. Tears for Fears originally intended to name the track, “Everybody Wants to go to War,” alluding to the Cold War. That was my intention behind the typography choices and smoky background. I paid attention to details in motion composition, rhythm/timing on the lyrics, and created a visual just as compelling as the melody of the song. I learned about Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, two programs I hadn’t known anything about until I decided on this direction.
