Glacier National Park Vacation
24”x 36” Infographic Poster
The objective was to produce a typography-dominated poster that was created to give a viewer a sense of my passions. Out of my many options, I chose the topic of a family vacation I went on back in 2019. Family is also a very important part of my life and traveling with them is always a blessing. I designed a poster that was informative, personal, and visually compelling. It required research to choose the appropriate charts and visualization for each set of data gathered. Working with the typeface Acumin Variable and the analogous color scheme, created a sense of simplicity while still including big chunks of text. Another major part of the assignment was creating a consistent mark-making system amongst all the applications including the illustrations. This project taught me to convey information in an enjoyable way, even with small, difficult typography.
